Nine of the 10 fighters set for action at Brave CF 83 in the Netherlands made weight for their respective bouts at the official weigh-ins in Alkmaar.

The main event features a pivotal battle in the super welterweight division, where former champion Marcin Bandel welcomes debutant and European MMA veteran Alex Lohore to Brave CF.

Both men made weight with ease, with each man tipping the scale at 79.5 kilos for their main event matchup, 0.3kg inside the super-welterweight limit.

The co-main event features middleweight action, and Noach Blyden and Oskar Herczyk also hit their contracted marks, with Blyden coming in at 83.7kg, while Herczyk weighed slightly heavier, at an even 84kg.

The card will also see the Brave CF debut of kickboxing star Youssef Boughanem, who needed two attempts to hit the agreed 72-kilo catchweight after accepting a short-notice opponent change. His adversary, Saad Touijar, arrived on the scale at 71.7kg.

The only fighter to miss his mark on the scale was Zaka Fatullazade, who also joined the card as a short-notice replacement. Unfortunately, he weighed in at 66.7kg, 3.7kg over the agreed catchweight limit of 63kg for his bout with Bahrain’s Muhammad Idrisov, who weighed in at 62.8. However, after Fatullazade forfeiting 20 percent of his fight purse to Idrisov, the bout has been mutually agreed to continue.

Finally, the main card of the night saw super welterweights Chiquina Noso Pedro and Ali Isajew both make weight without issue to lock in the five-fight main card for Saturday.
