Hot on the heels of their successful event in the city back in May, Brave CF have announced that they are set to return to Alkmaar, Netherlands, with a new date added to the promotion’s 2024 European Tour.
Brave CF 83 saw the organisation showcase some of their rising stars in the Netherlands, and now Brave CF are heading back to Alkmaar for their second show in the space of a few months.
The return to the Netherlands will take place on September 22, one day before Brave CF celebrates its eighth birthday, and will see the promotion team up with Dutch martial arts promotion Enfusion’s ECE MMA brand.
The fight card already has a number of athletes confirmed, with Suriname’s Noach Blyden, plus Nabil Haryouli and Clyde Brunswijk all set for action.
Blyden delivered one of the most impressive performances of the night at Brave CF 83 when he finished Poland’s Oskar Herczyk with a vicious body shot to claim a first-round knockout in the co-main event. It also took the kickboxing ace’s MMA record to 4-1, with all four wins coming via first-round finish. Now he’ll be looking to make it five in a row as he competes in Alkmaar for Brave CF once again.
Undefeated Dutch lightweight Haryouli will make his long-awaited Brave CF debut at the event, and has already made an impressive start to his MMA career, having reeled off a quartet of first-round finishes to race to 4-0.
He’s already competed for ECE MMA and French promotion Hexagone MMA, and was due to compete in the co-main event at Brave CF 83. A few months later than originally planned, he’ll finally make the walk to the Brave CF cage for the first time when the promotion returns to Alkmaar on September 22.
The other confirmed name for the September 22 card is Brunswijk. A competitor across multiple disciplines, Brunswijk is a veteran of more than 50 kickboxing bouts, and also has experience in boxing. Under MMA rules, Brunswijk has a record of 4-1, with three of his four wins coming via KO/TKO.
