The newly-rebranded Bellator Champions Series kicks off in Belfast, Northern Ireland on Friday night, and the full 11-fight lineup was rubber-stamped for the event after 21 of the 22 fighters set for action hit their contracted weights at Thursday’s official weigh-in session.

The event will be headlined by a battle for the vacant Bellator light heavyweight title, and both Corey Anderson and Karl Moore registered the same weight on the official scale. Both hit 204.6 pounds for their title tussle, with Friday night’s winner picking up the mantle following former champion Vadim Nemkov’s decision to vacate the title and move up to heavyweight.

There’s a belt on the line in the co-main event, as featherweight champion Patricio Pitbull puts his title on the line against Jeremy Kennedy, and both men hit championship weight, coming in at 145-pounds on the nose for their title fight.

The main card also features a pair of matchups with potential championship ramifications. Middleweight contenders Fabian Edwards and Aaron Jeffery face off at 185 pounds, while featherweight rivals James Gallagher and Leandro Higo do battle with a potentialn 145-pound title shot on the line.

Only one fighter on the entire card failed to make weight. Vikas Singh Ruhil came in one pound over the non-title featherweight limit. His bout with Nathan Kelly will now proceed as a catchweight contest.
